Asera Labs aims to build affordable security tools for a world that's moving faster than its safeguards. AI is reshaping how we work, but the tools to protect against its downsides barely exist. We're here to change that — starting with real-time file encryption and quickly expanding into agent-level network controls.
We are completely independent. Not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any company that builds AI tools. When you use Asera Labs, your security provider has zero incentive to weaken protections for the sake of AI adoption and data collection.
Why Independence Matters
The companies building AI tools have a vested interest in expanding what AI can access. Your security provider shouldn't.
Top AI labs are building increasingly capable AI agents that need broad system access to function. We don't question their motives, but we recognize the structural conflict. A security tool owned by an AI company will always face pressure to not restrict AI too aggressively. Asera Labs has no such pressure. We exist to protect you.
Our AI Policy
We do not use AI in our products. By design.
Asera Labs products contain zero AI, and do not rely on LLMs in any way. Our methods are deterministic. The same inputs always produces the same outputs. There are no models to trick and no training data to poison.
This is intentional. When you're building security tools to protect against AI, introducing AI into the protection layer creates a circular dependency. We believe the most robust security guarantees come from proven mathematics.
